AltBuild Returns to Southern California

The 5th Annual Alternative Building Materials and Design Expo (AltBuild) returns this year to Southern California. Event officials say the show is offering a number of “firsts” and unprecedented presentations, including the first official presentation by collaborative Green Cities California (GCC). AltBuild will take place April 25-26, 2008, at its new location, the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Admission is free and the event aims to bring together the general public and members of the building community, including: architects, designers, contractors, retail buyers and government representatives.

Friday, April 25, is designated a trade-focused day, geared to the design/architecture and construction communities. Saturday, April 26, will be directed primarily to the general public, though trade members also are welcome.
