Biltmore Estate® For Your Home Carriage House Collection By Amarr

VanderbiltNot everyone can live in a home as beautiful as Biltmore House, but Amarr Garage Doors of Winston-Salem, N.C., is bringing some of the elegance of the property to consumers with its new collection of carriage house doors. The Biltmore Estate® For Your Home Carriage House collection features six designs inspired by architectural elements of not only the Biltmore House, but also of other structures on the 8,000-acre estate.

With names derived from the estate's architecture and history, these garage doors have a distinctive, romantic quality that will enhance the look of any home. There is enduring beauty in the Vanderbilt, Chateau, Amherst, Antler Hill, R.H. Hunt and Swannanoa models, according to company literature.

Each model of the Biltmore Estate® For Your Home Carriage House collection is built with the finest materials and features Western red cedar as the overlay because of its beauty and resistance to cracking, warping and twisting. There are a variety of woods to choose from for the base of the door, including Western red cedar and MDO or T1-11 exterior plywood. The base is fastened to a 2-inch insulated commercial steel frame for extra durability and stability. To give the door the complete look of wood, Luan paneling is utilized as the interior backing.
