The Custom Shield replacement window manufactured by Weather Shield Windows & Doors was recognized in Consumer Digest magazine as a "Consumer Digest Best Buy." The article "Clear Choices in Replacement Windows," which appeared in the September, 2004 issue, named Custom Shield as a best buy in the economy wood-clad replacement window price range. According to Consumer Digest, thousands of products are reviewed by the magazine each year, and less than three percent of competing models in any given category are awarded the "Best Buy" title.
