The Southern Pine Council (SPC), of Kenner, La., has announced that will offer new brochures, a new booth and new information at the International Builders Show 2005 in Orlando, Fla.

A six-page publication, "Your Decking Choice: Pressure-Treated Southern Pine" focuses on many uses for treated Soutehrn pine in the decking industry. The publication includes detailed illustrations and callouts of proper deck construction techniques, fasteners and finishes. Another new brochure, "Southern Pine Lumber," summarizes the top reasons builders and designers should use wood. The eight-page publication includes project snapshots showing applications, as well as basic design and specification information.

SPC will also unveil a new booth design with a focus on raised floor systems. A full-size example of a raised floor foundation will include information on solid sawn lumber and trusses. SPC will be booth number 2982 at the show.
