Help a Good Cause: The Third Annual "Skate for the Kids"

Publisher of SHELTER magazine, Brian Welsh, and his family will be hosting the Third Annual "Skate for the Kids" Ice Skating Party on Sunday, December 4, 2005, from 2:40 to 4:40 p.m. at the Hatfield Ice Arena (formerly Hatfield Ice World), which is located at 350 County Line Road, Colmar, PA 18915. When you arrive at the rink, mention that you are with the "Skate for the Kids" Party.

The event is free, but attendees are asked to bring an unopened/unwrapped toy or gift that will then be donated to a well deserving local children's institution or to be given to a family in need at Christmas time.

"We have arranged to rent the ice in hopes that family and friends can get together and share some laughs, but at the same time support a good cause and make some children very happy during the holidays," Brian Welsh said.
