Dryvit Achieves ISO 14001-Certification
Tony Stall, vice president of marketing for Dryvit Systems said, "Receiving the ISO 14001 certification is an important step in Dryvit's ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship. We are dedicated to making our environmental footprint as small as possible, which involves energy and natural resource conservation and recycling as principal initiatives." Dryvit was the company that brought EIFS technology to North America from Europe in 1969. The registrar, National Quality Assurance, certified Dryvit's Oklahoma facility after an extensive auditing process. ISO14001 is the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) environmental management standard, which aims to minimize how operations affect the environment through adherence to a strict set of regulations enforcing a full-time commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle in all phases of operations. |
