Edgenet Introduces New Solutions

Since its introduction of the m2o® software, Edgenet says it has aimed to constantly innovate new selling solutions for window and door pro dealers and manufacturers. Among the newest offerings are the iCat and the Pro Dealer Suite.

The company has introduced the Interactive Catalog Manager (iCat), which is a bundling of catalog management tools and best practice methodology that enables the rapid deployment and business control of product information and catalogs through a manufacturer's enterprise sales channels. Built on an open product repository, the software allows manufacturers to differentiate themselves through the product branding opportunities of the company's m2o® catalog, as well as drive dynamic pricing, promotion and selling through dealer channels.

The company has also developed the Pro Dealer Suite with specific features to help pro dealers better serve its customers. One of these features, called Blueprint Take-off, is the ability to take rough openings from a blueprint and fill them with doors and windows from a manufacturer's catalog at the touch of a button. By providing a multi-vendor, multi-quoting selling environment, pro dealers can react quickly to change requests by customers, thus providing "real-time" scenario-based quoting, according to the company.
