Ferche Millwork Celebrates 50th Anniversary

On May 21st, Ferche Millwork, the Rice, Minn.-based manufacturer of mouldings and millwork, will host an open house. Special guests include state and local politicians, the Rice Chamber of Commerce, members of the Central Minnesota Builders Association (CMBA), selected suppliers and family members of the employees of Ferche Millwork. Festivities will begin with a national sales meeting earlier in the week for representatives of the company from throughout the United States. A lunch and plant tour for the Rice Chamber will begin at noon on Wednesday the 21st followed by a CMBA “on-location” event at 4:30 p.m. Plant tours for family members and interested members of the community also begin at 4:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., a brief ceremony will be held honoring several special guests including Bob Ferche, founder of Ferche Millwork, Rick Horowitz, president of RAF Industries (the family-owned equity group that acquired Ferche Millwork in 1988), key vendors and other contributors to the success of the business over the years.
