Case® Offers Jobs to Victims Affected by Hurricane Katrina Case Design/Remodeling Inc. will look among the displaced evacuees affected by Hurricane Katrina to fill an immediate need for qualified carpenters, craftsman and carpenter's helpers. The announcement comes as local and federal governments seek out additional resources for thousands of evacuees living in shelters around the country. Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., with branch offices in Annapolis, Md., Chantilly, Va., and Falls Church, Va., Case is in close proximity to more than 200 evacuees staying at a shelter in the (Washington) D.C. National Guard Amory. Case will be looking to recruit qualified individuals at a series of upcoming job fairs for Hurricane Katrina evacuees being held in conjunction with the D.C. Department of Employment Services. Case president Mark Richardson, CR, mentioned that this is a great opportunity to help evacuees recover some semblance of their daily lives. "Before Hurricane Katrina, many of these individuals held jobs in a variety of industries as skilled workers. We are pleased to be able to offer employment and fill our needs with skilled labor," remarked Richardson. | |
