ViWinTech Founder Narvel "Pete" Brown Dies

Vinyl Window Technologies, or ViWinTech®, of Paducah, Ky., is sad to announce the death of company founder Narvel "Pete" Brown, who died of lung cancer at the age of 80 on August 8, 2007.

Brown's accomplishments include founding Aluma-Kraft Inc. in 1952 and building the business into a world-class manufacturing operation. In 1984, he founded Vinyl Window Technologies, which continues to expand its product line, production and sales regions across the United States. Brown received numerous business achievement awards, was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan, enjoyed bass fishing and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joretta Carlisle Brown, their four adult children and a large extended family of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
