Owens Forest Products of Shawano, Wis., manufacturer and distributor of hardwood interior doors and floors, joined the board of directors of Trees For Tomorrow, Inc., a natural resource specialty school.

Trees For Tomorrow, located in Eagle River, Wis., offers field-based programs, which place students and teachers in direct contact with natural resources that support human needs. These programs develop awareness, knowledge and understanding of natural resources to help participants understand and make informed decisions regarding the management and wise use of those resources. This experience inspires informed participation in policymaking and promotes stewardship and renewal of natural resources for use by future generations.

According to Keith Richmond, general manager, "Owens Forest Products is also focused on forestry-related educational programs and actively involved in many associations that support the use of nature's most renewable resource-wood. Because of this focus, we believe that partnering with Trees For Tomorrow is an excellent way to directly support our initiative."
