PGT Names Moore Executive Vice President

Venice, Fla.-based PGT Industries has appointed Herman Moore as the company's new executive vice president. Moore brings 32 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Reporting directly to PGT president Rod Hershberger, Moore is responsible for the operations of the company which has manufacturing facilities in Venice, Fla., and Lexington, N.C., and employs more than 2,100.

Moore was most recently vice president of operations at Ahlstrom Engine Filtration & Air Media, L.L.C., where he was responsible for four plants in Kentucky, Illinois, New York and Texas.
