Pro-Build Possibly Acquiring HD Supply

Various internet news sources are reporting that Pro-Build has entered into an agreement to acquire the lumber and building materials division of HD Supply. Lauren Falcone, an HD Supply spokeswoman, told one news source that the Orlando, Fla.-based construction materials distributor has agreed to sell “substantially all of the assets” of the division to Denver-based Pro-Build.

“We are currently working through the due diligence process,” Falcone said.

“We expect to have an official release later this week,” a Pro-Build representative told Shelter. The company isn’t offering any further information or comment at this time.
