Republic Windows & Doors donated windows for the Habitat for Humanity "Blitz Build" that took place in Lake Charles, La., September 11-17. The company is one of several members of Vinyl Partners for Humanity who participated with the Louisiana Vinyl Industry and the Calcasieu Area Habitat for Humanity to build four homes in Lake Charles in seven days.

"We're really happy to be able to contribute to this project," said Amy Zimmerman, Republic's vice president of marketing. "Giving back to the community is something everyone at Republic is excited about--and a worthy cause."

In addition to donating 30 windows for Habitat for Humanity, Zimmerman said the company also donated windows for Fox's new reality-TV show, "Makeover My Family." Republic is donating all of the windows for seven home makeovers across the country.
