Rocky's Ace Hires Chiera to Lead Advertising Marketing and PR

Rocky's Ace Hardware, headquartered in Springfield, Mass., and one of the largest hardware stores in the Ace Hardware cooperative, has appointed Frank Chiera Jr. to lead its advertising, marketing and public relations department.

Chiera has more than 12 years of marketing experience and spent the last two working with CCA Global Partners, a privately owned co-op for carpet retailers headquartered in Manchester, N.H., and St. Louis, where he held several retail marketing leadership roles, including director of retail operations and director of advertising and marketing. He led all of the company's advertising, ecommerce and consumer marketing initiatives.

Prior to CCA Global, Chiera spent five years working for the Yankee Candle Co., headquartered in South Deerfield, Mass., where he held several managerial roles including advertising manager, advertising and consumer promotions manager and senior marketing manager. He began his marketing career in Albany, N.Y., where he spent seven years in financial marketing and advertising for Troy Financial Corp. He is a graduate of Siena College, in Loudonville, N.Y., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Political Science.
