SierraPine Announces New Company President

The owners of SierraPine Ltd., a privately-held manufacturer of medium-density fiberboard (MDF), particleboard and MDF mouldings, have announced that Wade Gregory will replace Bill Black as president of the company.

"After a thorough search, looking afar and close to home, we found the best candidate to replace Bill Black as president was already on the SierraPine team. We are proud to announce that, effective immediately, Wade Gregory will assume the day-to-day duties as president of SierraPine, Ltd.," announced Joe Gonyea III and Mark Emmerson.

The two board members made the announcement at SierraPine's corporate office in Roseville, Calif.

"Wade is no stranger to our company or the composite panel industry, and we look forward to his continued contributions and leadership at SierraPine."

Wade has been a member of the SierraPine team for nine years, previously as manager of SierraPine's Ampine® Particleboard Division and more recently as executive vice president of sales and marketing for the company. He is past chairperson of the Composite Panel Association (CPA) and a current board member of the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS).

Adding a final comment about the anticipated smooth leadership transition, the two owners said, "We again wish to thank Bill Black for his numerous contributions, and we look forward to his continued involvement at SierraPine as a member of the board of directors."
