Southern Pine Council Showcases Raised Floor Information

In the wake of the destructive 2005 hurricane season along the Gulf Coast, the Southern Pine Council is launching an aggressive campaign designed to educate builders to "Build Smart" when building, and rebuilding, throughout the country.

During the 2006 International Builders' Show in Orlando, Fla., SPC will offer builders complete information on raised floor systems, termite-resistant wood, mold prevention and blue-stain lumber-all relevant issues as the country moves into the rebuilding phase. Brochures, photos, case histories and expert analysis on the topics mentioned above will be available to builders visiting the SPC booth (W2982) at IBS.

New literature available in the SPC booth includes the following titles: "Southern Pine Headers & Beams," "Southern Pine Patterns," and "Rediscover Raised Floor Systems." All SPC literature titles are available on one new literature CD, which will be offered free to builders visiting the booth.
