Therma-Tru fiberglass doors protect many Roland homes from storms, and now Maumee, Ohio-based Therma-Tru is helping the city of Roland protect its residents.

Therma-Tru Doors has donated a new storm siren for the city that will alert residents when high winds or dangerous tornadoes are in the area. The siren will be installed the week after Thanksgiving and will be functional by early December.

"Our associates at Therma-Tru are residents of this community, too, and we want to do our part as a good corporate citizen," said Bob Keller, plant manager of the Roland facility. "Our company designs and manufactures doors that provide safety and security for homes, and we are proud to now help provide safety and security for Roland's residents."

Therma-Tru Doors, which has approximately 300 associates at its Roland facility, has been manufacturing doors and system components here for approximately four years.
