WDMA Board Adds Insulating Glass Representation

The Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA), a trade association representing U.S. and Canadian manufacturers and suppliers of windows, skylights and doors that's based out of Des Plaines, Ill., has announced that it now has direct representation on its board from the insulating glass (IG) side of the business.

The association reports that industry veteran Tom Kaiser, president of Cardinal IG Co., Eden Prairie, Minn., recently joined its Board of Directors. Kaiser has been active in the association for 13 years, is a West Point graduate and worked with Allegheny Ludlum, a Pittsburgh, Pa.-based stainless steel producer, prior to Cardinal IG. WDMA said Kaiser was confirmed to the Board of Directors at its Fall Meeting and Conference in Las Vegas.

The association says its board member line up draws from various materials and processes in the end-to-end manufacturing of windows, skylights and doors, with an emphasis on performance.
